FMB offers you a secure and attractive method of saving funds through the Savings Account.  The Savings Account is available to those clients who wish to save for the future and still maintain convenience and flexibility.

Features and Benefits

  • To encourage Savings Account holders to continue to save and to build up the balance, the Bank pays a very attractive rate of interest on a half-yearly basis.
  • On a minimum balance of K20,000, you automatically qualify for a Cheque Book facility that is available on request.
  • The Savings account allows for immediate access to funds through
    FirstCash ATMs.

Qualifying Criteria

  1. Clients must be 18 years and older.
  2. A minimum of MK1000 is required to open a Savings Account.
  3. A valid passport or driver's license and two referees are required as part of the account opening procedures.
  4. Proof of residence (e.g. water and electricity bills, etc).
