FMB Mobile

FMB Mobile is a unique product, offered by First Merchant Bank, that will allow you to retrieve your account balance and transaction information. You can use your mobile handset to send a request for your real-time balance and statement information.

How It Works
FMB Mobile responses are sent via the GSM network and are received through your mobile handset as a standard incoming SMS text. This service is available to all types of account holders

a. Security
Upon completing registration the Bank will provide you with a PIN Code which you can change thereafter.

b. Cost
During each month, all customers shall be entitled to 5 free requests, thereafter, a special SMS rate equivalent to 10 US cents per response shall apply.

c. Availability
i) This service is available to both Celtel and TNM subscribers who hold accounts with FMB
ii) This service is available to all types of account holders
iii) This service is available between 8:00am and 6:00pm weekdays and 8:30am to 2:00pm on Saturdays


FMB Mail

Customers registered with FMB Mobile can also avail of the FMB Mail service, an email based product which enables them to send e-mail requests and obtain by e-mail;
1-Balance on account
2-Account statement
3-Automated periodic statement – sent daily, weekly or monthly as customer requires

All e-mail correspondence sent to customers by FMB mail is password protected with the customer’s unique PIN code.
