The FMB Gold Savings account is a disciplined savings account offering higher rates of interest and other attractive benefits to those customers who can afford to maintain a higher minimum balance in their savings account.

Features and Benefits

The Gold Savings Account offers free Life Personal Accident Insurance up to a maximum sum of K500,000 to be payable to the beneficially originally nominated by the deceased.

Cheques issued to a third party from a Gold Savings Account will be guaranteed for payment up to a maximum of K200,000 per cheque.

Gold Savings Account holders who are also subscribers to Multichoice Malawi will be EXEMPT form all documentation and postage fees when paying their subscriptions at FMB’s counters situated in Multichoice offices.

Quality Criteria

• Clients must be 18 years and older
• A minimum amount of K100,000 is required to open a Gold Savings Account.
• Minimum balance required of K100,000.
