The FMB Fixed Deposit Account is available for investors seeking capital security. This is an investment account for a lump sum that will not be needed for a specified period of time. The interest rate is guaranteed for the term of the investment.
Features and Benefits
- The account may be opened for a period of 3, 6, 9, 12 or 24 months.
- Interest is payable on maturity of your Fixed Deposit Account and (unless you instruct to the contrary) may be rolled over – with Principal and interest combined – for a similar fixed period.
Qualifying Criteria
- Clients must be 18 years and older.
- A minimum deposit of K25,000 is required.
- A valid passport or driver's license and two referees are required as part of the account opening procedures.
- Proof of residence (e.g. water and electricity bills, etc).
