The FMB ATM card is called the ‘FirstCash Card’.  This is a dual-purpose card that can also be used as a cheque guarantee card with cheques drawn on the cardholder’s account being guaranteed for payment up to the limit specified on the card.

Customers can perform one of eight functions (with more planned for the near future):

• Balance Enquiry
• Pin Change
• Mini Statement
• Fast Cash Withdrawal
• Normal Cash withdrawal
• Funds Transfer
• Statement Request
• Cheque Book Request 

Customers can withdraw a maximum of K40,000 (Fourty Thousand Kwacha) per day, subject to availability of funds in their account and can link up to eight accounts to one card, giving them the freedom to draw money from the account of their choice at any given time. Customers operating joint accounts can also have separate individual cards.

Customers have a choice of transacting on the ATMs in English or Chichewa.  The display window on the ATM features a graphical design which is eye-friendly.  The ATM keypads are coded with Braille lettering, which makes them more easily accessible to visually challenged customers.
